  • Sections will start back on 1st Sept 2023
  • Sections now use a mixture of outdoor and indoor meetings. This will often be influenced by the weather forecasts as well as the activity program. Our outdoor meeting will mainly be in Holmhills Park or the Public Park - timings and locations will be detailed on Facebook and/or OSM invitations.

  • St Anns 2024 - Our summer camp for 2024 is to be a visit to Boreland Scout Camp Site, St Anns, Beattock. 
  • We have undertaken risk assessments that  permits scouting to be COVID safe. Our Facebook page and the OSM invitations give more information to group members. 
  • Winter Camp 2025 has been provisionally booked for the weekend of 21st - 23rd |February 2025. We will give details out prior to Christmas.
  • Family camp is being planned for 30th August - 1st Sept 2024
  • WAITING LIST - All our sections are full at the moment but we are taking names to add to our Waiting List. Other local groups may have space (150th Glasgow, 185th Glasgow, 113th Glasgow, 48th Glasgow, 137th Glasgow and 38th Glasgow).

Explorer Scouts meet each Friday undertaking a range of activities from fencing to canoeing and cooking to first aid. Explorer Scouting is open to all those aged 14 - 18.

Zodiac Camps are one night camps that take place over the course of the year. Generally one night each month at a recognised scout campsite. Associated with the camp is a challenge - details of which  are announced with each camp announcement.
Beaver scouts meet at the Church hall every Friday evening at 18:00. The evening consists of games and other activities that count towards one of the many badges a beaver scout can earn
Cubs meet at the church hall at 18:30 every Friday where they take part in games, badgwork and other activities.
The Scout Section is aimed at young persons aged between 10.5 and 14. The section operates a patrol system and each scout will belong to a patrol led by a Patrol Leader and Assistant Patrol Leader. The Section meets at 19:45
